Job summary

Motion Industries in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a full-time role. You will oversee product inspections, assist technicians with QC procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards while keeping the shop clean and organized.

You will document test results, monitor serialized products, and collaborate across teams to implement new protocols using Lean and Six Sigma methods, with responsibility for maintaining logs and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to three (3) years of experience or an equilvalent combination

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Inspects products using specialized equipment and/or monitors repair practices to ensure compliance with quality control procedures.

SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Technician oversees and inspects products to ensure standards are met, and/or repairs in the shop ensuring proper procedures are followed to improve effiency and results. The employee also ensures that the shop is clean and organized and makes adjustments when applicable.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Familiar with industrial repair parts and processes a plus.
• Must be knowledgable in 5s Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean/ Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
• Very organized and detailed oriented indiviual.
