Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Motion Lab Engineer to manage all technical aspects of our motion analysis laboratory, including hardware/software and data operations for clinical and research patients.

You will supervise data collection and processing, develop custom software, and maintain databases to support gait and sports evaluations using marker-based and marker-less systems. A BS in engineering and knowledge of coding are required; Motion Analysis Lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of computer programming experience.
• BS in engineering or equivalent with motion analysis tech knowledge.
• Familiarity with Python, Visual3D, and Vicon encouraged; Motion Analysis Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection and data processing for clinical and research patients.
• Develop and manage software for the motion analysis laboratory.
• Maintain hardware/software and QA programs to meet accreditation standards.
