MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA offers a Residency RN – Transition to Practice Program for new graduates or RNs transitioning to hospital or new specialties. The program blends classroom learning with clinical hours under expert preceptors to build competence, autonomy and purpose.

RNs join a 0.9 FTE, 12/40 shift schedule with variable hours. Requirements include WA MLS or RN license, BSN preferred, BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP and TNCC/PEARS as required by department within set timelines.

Formación

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within the stated timelines.
• TNCC/PEARS within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing functions across lifespan.
• Use nursing process for care and health teaching for promotion/prevention.
• Work interdependently under physician direction for medical regimens.
• Collaborate to improve quality of care, patient experience and costs.

Educación

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or MLS

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred

Current BLS Certification

ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days of hire

TNCC, PEARS within 1 year of hire
