Job summary

MultiCare Health System’s Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, WA, offers an RN Residency - Transition to Practice program for new graduates or RNs transitioning to hospital or new specialties. The program blends classroom instruction with clinical hours under expert preceptors to advance nursing competence, autonomy, and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State (WA) or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• BSN preferred for the role.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 90 days of hire as required by department.
• TNCC and PEARS within 1 year of hire as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Learn to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing functions across the lifespan.
• Utilize the nursing process for care and health teaching.
• Function interdependently when executing medical regimens under physician direction.
• Collaborate to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.

Education

RN license WAMLS

BSN preferred

BLS Certification

ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days
