MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA, offers the Residency RN - Transition to Practice Program for new graduates or nurses transitioning to hospital settings. You will participate in classroom instruction and clinical hours with experienced preceptors to build competence, autonomy and a patient-centered practice.

This 0.9 FTE program features 12-hour shifts with a 72-80 hour two-week schedule, and pathways to advance in specialty areas while delivering high-quality care and safe patient

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire.
• Washington State RN license is required.
• Advanced nursing degree (MSN, PhD, DNP, or ARNP) preferred.

• You will learn to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate nursing functions across the lifespan of individuals, families, caregivers, and populations.
• You will utilize the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in the maintenance and the promotion of health or prevention of illness.
• You will function interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician.
• Collaborate towards facilitating improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.

Conoscenze

CPR Certification

ACLS/PALS/NRP within 90 days

TNCC/LNPC/PEARS within 1 year

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Washington State RN license

Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
