Job summary

Medical City McKinney is hiring a Mother Baby RN for night shift with rotating weekends. You will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced obstetric unit, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure excellent outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN (BSN within 2 years), active RN licensure, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days, and at least 1 year of Mom Baby experience. Tuition assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 years of start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure in state of practice (or active compact license).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 30 days of start date.
• 1+ years of Mother Baby RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per department standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 yrs of start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license
• 1+ yrs Mom Baby RN experience required
