Job summary

Medical City McKinney in Texas is seeking a Mother Baby RN for the night shift with rotating weekends. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team, ensuring advocacy for patients and families.

The role requires an ADN with BSN to be completed within 2 years, BLS and NRP within 30 days of start, and an active RN license (or compact). Prior Mom Baby RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 yrs of start
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license in the state of practice and/or active compact license
• NRP must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1+ yrs Mom Baby RN experience required

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• ADN degree required; BSN must be completed within 2 yrs of start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practiceand/or has an active compact license
• 1+ yrs Mom Baby RN experience required
