Job summary

UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper in Culpeper, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Mother and Baby unit. This full-time Days position operates 7a–7p with weekends rotate and requires strong patient care leadership.

Must have at least one year of RN experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. You will lead a care team, document care, and collaborate with physicians to promote recovery and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure required.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state required; CPI certification within three months for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care under supervision.
• Educate patient and support system; coordinate with physicians.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and administer medications with the five rights.
• Document care and communicate using SBARQ.
