Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Mother-Baby Clinical Coordinator RN Nights to lead coordination of resources and ensure high-quality newborn and maternal care.

You will interact with all hospital departments, promote patient satisfaction, assess and evaluate care, and maintain nursing quality initiatives, while meeting BLS and NRP requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN Preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in specialty preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• NRP Part I required; Part II obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and activities for the unit.
• Interact with all hospital departments to maintain optimum patient care across ages.
• Promote customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with age-specific factors.
• Report significant changes in unit conditions or incidents.
• Maintain knowledge of Nursing Quality Improvement activities on the assigned shift.

The Mother Baby Clinical Coordinator RN Nights will:

• Provide coordination of resources and activities.
• Interact with all Hospital Departments to initiate, coordinate and maintain optimum patient care as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors (Adults, Geriatrics).
• Actively promote customer satisfaction as well as a positive work environment.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care activities consider growth and development factors appropriate to the age (Adults, Newborn, Children, Geriatrics) in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
• Report any significant changes in the condition of the Unit, any incidents and/or personnel problems.
• Maintain knowledge of and is responsible for Nursing Quality Improvement activities on assigned shift.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN Preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in specialty preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 47.28 - 75.64 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
