Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System seeks a Birthing Center RN Per Diem Nights to join our Magnet-designated team in New Jersey. You will collaborate with skilled nurses, assess patient status, and administer medications, while documenting comprehensive care in accordance with standards.

Per diem night shifts offer flexibility with a focus on patient safety. Required NJ RN license, 1 year experience preferred, BSN preferred, BLS, NRP I & II, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• NRP certification Part I & II required.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine health status.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.

The Birthing Center RN Per Diem Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I & II required
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range:56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
