Job summary

Saint Peter’s HealthCare System in New Jersey is seeking a Birthing Center RN Per Diem to join a Magnet-recognized team. The role emphasizes collaborative nursing, precise assessments, care standards, medication administration, and meticulous documentation within a dynamic obstetric setting.

Requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification; ACLS obtained during orientation. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NRP certification Part I & II required.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.

• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.

The Birthing Center RN Per Diem will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I & II required
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
