Arrive Alive Traffic Control is seeking a MOT Technician to help manage traffic flow in construction zones in Orlando, FL. The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and adherence to FDOT standards and customer specifications.

You will work with a team to set up lane closures, direct traffic, and maintain equipment. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate a strong safety mindset, and possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation to the workplace.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and 10+ hour days.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing regular physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members.
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other traffic control equipment.
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades.
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques.
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
• Keep the worksite clean and organized and dispose of debris properly.
• Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed.
