Job summary

Pennymac in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Loan Resolution Specialist to process liquidation workout solutions with defaulted borrowers to avoid foreclosure and mitigate loss for the company. You will analyze financial statements and loan documents to determine the appropriate workout path and provide feedback for accuracy.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/Word skills. Knowledge of mortgage liens and short sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in loan resolution or similar.
• Experience with first and second mortgage liens and short sale/liquidation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete research on prior workout reviews to determine eligibility for Short Sale or Deed in Lieu.
• Analyze financial statements, loan documentation and data to determine the correct workout solution.
• Provide feedback on submitted documents to ensure accuracy for the file.
• Conduct gain/loss analysis on loans to project potential future loss versus available options.
• Review and resubmit corrected submissions to the negotiator as needed.
• Perform related duties in line with company culture and values.
