Qualifications
Five to seven years of mortgage underwriting operations experience are required.
One to three years of experience in a leadership role is required.
VA Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) designation is preferred.
FHA Direct Endorsement underwriting designation is preferred.
Responsibilities
Direct day-to-day activities of a designated Mortgage Underwriting Team.
Analyze and evaluate residential loan applications.
Gather, analyze and interpret credit information.
Approve or deny loans and make credit structure decisions.
