Qualifications

• Five to seven years of mortgage underwriting operations experience are required.
• One to three years of experience in a leadership role is required.
• VA Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) designation is preferred.
• FHA Direct Endorsement underwriting designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of a designated Mortgage Underwriting Team.
• Analyze and evaluate residential loan applications.
• Gather, analyze and interpret credit information.
• Approve or deny loans and make credit structure decisions.
