Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Deal Manager to oversee the boarding and de-boarding of loans, coordinating transfer timelines with internal teams and external servicers. You will monitor KPIs, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide clear data reporting to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in mortgage servicing and 2+ years in loan transfers, strong Excel/SQL skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ mortgage servicing experience required.
• 2+ years of loan transfer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization and standards.
• Monitor and maintain stated KPIs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (Goodbye Letter, Welcome Letter, Investor Change Letter).
• Work with internal and external parties to establish a transfer timeline.
• Initiate and host routine conference calls with servicers to confirm critical due dates and review transfer documents.
• Manage completion of all transfer tasks using heatmaps and checklists.
• Coordinate exchange of information between servicer and internal units.
• Assist Data Mapping and Validation Analysts to evaluate data exceptions.
• Provide transfer data and set up department calls to facilitate transfers.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide weekly updates on transfers to portfolios and clients.
