Job summary

Texas Tech Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Systems & AI Analyst to support and optimize mortgage technology platforms (Encompass, nCino, Optimal Blue). You will troubleshoot, configure, test, document, and train users while developing approved AI workflows and prompts for mortgage operations.

The role partners with stakeholders and vendors, maintains runbooks, and ensures IT security and compliance. Strong Encompass experience and mortgage knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Encompass administration experience preferred.
• Experience with nCino Mortgage, Optimal Blue, Encompass Developer Connect, SQL, scripting.
• Working knowledge of residential mortgage loan process from application through closing.
• Experience supporting a business application through a ticket queue, help desk, or similar.
• Experience testing system changes before release, including test scripts or UAT.
• Experience creating and maintaining process, system, or configuration documentation.
• Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions clearly.
• Experience using generative AI tools for business purposes, including documentation, testing, workflow development.

Responsibilities

• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve mortgage systems requests from loan officers and staff.
• Build and maintain Encompass business rules, personas, input forms, and data-driven field mappings.
• Test system changes with business users and move approved changes through change management.
• Coordinate with Encompass development partner and vendors by defining requirements and documenting specs.
• Develop approved AI prompts, workflows, and automations to support mortgage operations with proper testing and IT security.
• Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and user training materials; train users on updates.
• Serve as backup to Mortgage Systems Manager for routine support and prioritization.
• Protect member information following security and compliance requirements.
