Job summary

Shore United Bank seeks a Mortgage Servicing Associate to handle daily mortgage servicing tasks, ensuring accurate loan accounting and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements. You will review loan maintenance, board secondary market loans, and deliver reliable customer service to bank personnel and customers.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in banking or mortgage servicing, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in banking or mortgage servicing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mortgage processes.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and document loan payoffs to external and internal requests.
• Complete mortgage verifications upon receipt.
• Cooperate with and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (CRA, BSA, EEO, etc).
• Ensure prompt delivery of loan servicing to bank personnel and compliance.
• Oversee sub servicing’s methods including boarding of secondary market loans and monitoring reports.
• Participate in required training sessions including BSA/AML policies and procedures.
• Process and reconcile daily payments received for secondary market loans.
• Review loan maintenance and source documents; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
