Job summary

Firstsource is seeking a Mortgage Quality Control Servicing Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to the Servicing QC team. This role acts as a client contact, ensures accuracy in QC processes, and maintains detailed documentation.

Responsibilities include managing loan files, setting up audits, assigning reviews, generating reports, updating trackers, and assisting with billing. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential; remote, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage industry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate tasks within the department.
• Adaptable to changing needs and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and quality output.
• Willingness to learn Mortgage Servicing Terms and Concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile incoming loan files and client data.
• Audit client communications regarding selections, file transfers, loan replacements, and questions.
• Set up audits, obtain missing documents, and monitor SLAs and audit completion.
• Map fields, set criteria in the system, and build sampling spreadsheets for audits.
• Assign reviews within audits to Analysts; replace loans as needed.
• Prepare audit reports within SLAs and verify loan counts match selections.
• Load reports to client dashboards in the proprietary system.
• Update Servicing Tracker daily with file status, audits, reporting, and billing.
• Billing: ensure per-loan charges match invoices and client statements.
• Complete Servicing QC audits on performing and non-performing loans.
• Attend internal and client meetings as requested.
• Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
