Job summary

Tulsa, OK-based Chief Servicing Officer role at Talent Edge Recruiting seeks an experienced mortgage servicing leader to build and run a new operation from the ground up. You will design the servicing infrastructure, lead a growing team, and oversee a portfolio around 2,000 loans totaling roughly $500M in UPB, spanning non-QM residential, commercial, and construction loans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mortgage servicing experience.
• 5+ years in leadership/management within mortgage servicing.
• Experience with performing and non-performing loan portfolios.
• Knowledge of non-QM mortgage servicing.
• Experience with loan boarding, portfolio onboarding, and transfers.
• Understanding of agency and investor servicing requirements.
• Oversight of default servicing and complex operations.
• Experience rebuilding or scaling a mortgage servicing operation.
• Familiarity with Nortridge or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Finance, Accounting, Mortgage Banking, or related field.
• Strong operational leadership in entrepreneurial environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and establish the mortgage servicing department with processes, staffing, and controls.
• Lead about 10 servicing employees as the department grows.
• Oversee full servicing lifecycle for performing and non-performing loans.
• Manage loan boarding, transfers, onboarding, payments, and account maintenance.
• Oversee default servicing, loss mitigation, and regulatory examinations.
• Ensure compliance with investor, agency, and servicing requirements.
• Monitor system performance and maintain data integrity.
• Set SLAs, metrics, and customer service standards.
• Lead borrower communications and resolve escalations.
• Drive system implementations and process automation.
• Position operation for future growth and expansion.
