Newrez in Coppell, TX is seeking a Deal Manager to oversee onboarding and de-boarding of loans, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely transfers. This high energy role coordinates tasks, communicates with servicers, and maintains KPI-focused processes.

Ideal candidate has mortgage servicing experience, strong data skills in Excel and SQL, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, host calls, and produce clear transfer reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years’ applicable mortgage servicing related experience required.
• 2+ years of loan transfer experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department organization and standards.
• Monitor and maintain stated KPIs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including Goodbye Letter, Welcome Letter, and Investor Change (404) Letter.
• Work with internal and external parties to establish a transfer timeline.
• Initiate and host routine conference calls with servicers to confirm critical due dates, review and explain transfer related documents and coordinate resolution.
• Manage completion of all transfer related tasks using heatmaps and checklists.
• Coordinate exchange of information between servicer and internal business units.
• Collaborate with Data Mapping and Validation Analysts to evaluate data exceptions.
• Assist the business units by providing the transfer data and setting up department calls as needed.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide Portfolio Management or clients weekly updates on current transfers and upcoming transfers.
• Performs related duties as assigned by management.
