Job summary

Liberty FCU in the Sarasota/Bradenton, FL area is seeking a Mortgage Lending Sales Manager. This is a producing managerial role responsible for growing mortgage volume and leading a sales team within our mortgage group.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mortgage origination experience, 3+ years of leadership, and holds an active NMLS license with CE compliance. You will recruit, mentor, and develop referral networks while delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan originations experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role leading a sales team is preferred.
• NMLS license and continuing education are required.
• Knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
• Experience with LOS, CRM, UW, and other software systems to maximize borrower experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the mortgage sales team to achieve production goals.
• Recruit and assist in hiring to build the team.
• Develop and implement strategy to achieve production targets.
• Forecast monthly/annual production with RVP of Mortgage Sales.
• Represent the credit union at external functions to build new business.
• Prepare and submit loan reports and conduct annual performance evaluations.
