Responsibilities

• Act as a junior Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or reliever during high-volume periods.
• Prepare pre-approval documentation for potential borrowers.
• Submit completed files to underwriting.
• Follow up on homeowner’s insurance (HOI) requirements.
• Conduct BSA property lookups and verification.
• Estimate property taxes for loan applications.
• Review and file documents from FastApp/unassigned queues.
• Pull and organize bank and mortgage statements.
• Support loan officers experiencing higher than normal volume to prevent production lulls.
• Assist with administrative tasks to help maintain workflow efficiency.
• Learn the mortgage application process from start to finish.
• Shadow experienced mortgage professionals.
