Job summary

UMB Bank NA seeks a Mortgage Sales Support Manager to supervise a small team of LOAs and assist Mortgage Loan Originators with technology and day-to-day needs to grow loan productivity. Focus on customer experience and timely loan delivery to the operations team.

The role involves training, onboarding, relationship building with mortgage partners, and regular pipeline management to maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage banking, or mortgage lending environment, preferably working with Sales or in a Sales Capacity.
• Requires S.A.F.E registration at the time of employment and maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the LOAs for best execution in supporting MLO with loan origination tasks throughout the loan process.
• Mentor LOAs in team concept to assist internal partners with external customer communication.
• Assist MLOs to optimize performance through quality expectations and daily pipeline review for decision dates and rate lock expirations.
• Assist in onboarding and training current and new sales associates regarding policy, LOS, and daily tasks.
• Be proficient in the credit bureau provider software to pull scenarios and reissues.
