Job summary

Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist - Non – LO – Servicing to resolve delinquency issues through negotiation while following state and federal guidelines. You will educate customers on timely payments and provide excellent service, reporting to the Team Lead in a fast-paced loan servicing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year experience; collections, call center or loan servicing experience a plus.
• Basic computer skills; type at least 25 wpm.
• Working knowledge of the View/AS400 system.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
• Ability to gather facts, analyze causes, evaluate solutions, and act accordingly.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Make an average of 100 outbound calls daily to collect on past due mortgage payments and resolve delinquency.
• Service a portfolio of 1,700–2,000 accounts with borrower questions.
• Assist customers with escrow, insurance claims, VMF online portal, and loan documents.
• Document mortgage collections activity and communications.
• Coordinate timelines and actions with consumer lending teams and other departments.
