Job summary

Cornerstone Capital Bancorp, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a detail-oriented Quality Systems Analyst with mortgage industry experience to customize a COTS Loan Origination System. Join a team delivering robust QA processes and test automation to ensure accurate, scalable mortgage solutions.

You will work closely with Product Management, Software Development, and IT Operations to create workflow-based test cases, report defects, and verify resolutions, helping our mortgage origination team thrive.

Qualifications

0–2 years of software testing experience in a professional environment.
1–3 years of experience working in mortgage lending.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and a fast learner.
Basic proficiency Windows and Web Apps; familiarity with MacOS, iOS and Android.
Ability to troubleshoot unexpected outcomes.

Responsibilities

Create workflow-based test cases to verify functionality and usability of the software.
Execute test cases with an eye toward user experience and workflow requirements.
Report software defects, assist in troubleshooting, and confirm resolution.
Monitor, track, and report test results related to code changes impact.
Collaborate with development to ensure end-product readiness for mortgage origination.
Support the system post-release to troubleshoot defects and verify fixes.
Develop measures to ensure software quality.
Determine testing needs and communicate with the team.
