Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage loan processor experience preferred.
• Understanding of loan underwriting and processing procedures.
• Knowledge of mortgage legislation and compliance best practices.
• Proficiency with mortgage loan software, specifically Encompass.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail with math, analytical and mapping abilities.
• Well-organized and able to handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage applications and evaluate documents for compliance and accuracy.
• Issue disclosures within required timeframes.
• Gather and verify loan documentation from officers and applicants.
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters as needed.
• Submit complete loan files for appraisal and final review before closing.
• Maintain pipeline of at least 30 loans and coordinate with team to meet deadlines.
• Support senior processors and underwriters with audits, new products, and processes.
