Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union in Worcester, MA is seeking a Mortgage Processor to ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant. You will support the mortgage servicing team by preparing files for underwriting and closing, while maintaining clear communication with members from application to funding.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years mortgage processing experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of ECOA, RESPA, HMDA and Regulation Z and related compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage daily mortgage pipeline with focus on timely processing and adherence to turn-times.
Maintain understanding of Webster First Federal Credit Union mortgage products and services.
Prepare and send compliance-related documents to members with accuracy and timeliness.
Provide proactive, ongoing communication with members throughout the loan process.
Document all member, loan officer, and underwriter correspondence in the loan file.
Verify accuracy and completeness of loan data and keep system records current.
