Job summary

Founders Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to serve as the single point of contact for members throughout the mortgage process, ensuring files are processed timely and accurately from disclosure to closing.

The ideal candidate has mortgage or finance experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and the ability to manage documentation and regulatory requirements. On-site at our Lancaster, SC or Rock Hill, SC locations; remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree or two years of loan processing experience.
• Experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow coaching.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for members throughout the mortgage process.
• Gather required documents and prepare files for underwriting.
• Provide ongoing communication from disclosure to closing.
• Manage mortgage documentation in established systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Track conditions, verify employment, and complete HMDA and escrow data.
