An established industry player is seeking an entry-level loan processor to manage conventional and government loan requests. In this fully remote role, you will work closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure a seamless loan application experience. Your responsibilities will include monitoring documentation, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting the origination department. Responsible for processing conventional and government loan requests based on product, underwriting, state-specific, and investor guidelines.
Work closely with internal and external customers such as co-workers, borrowers, and Loan Officers.
Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in a new loan application to ensure a seamless experience.
Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to obtain necessary documentation, such as Verification of Employment, IRS Transcripts, title search, appraisal, bank statements, etc.
Notify relevant parties of irregularities related to mortgage guidelines.
Monitor and update credit reports, appraisals, income documentation, and verifications to meet underwriting conditions, working with underwriting to resolve issues.
Perform administrative duties supporting the origination department, including preparing and mailing commitment letters, reviewing title and homeowners insurance, mailing loan suspend notices, updating loan conditions, and providing documentation to the closing attorney.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Evaluate changes needed for regulatory documents with strong analytical skills.
Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, escalating issues as needed.
Promote a diverse environment that reflects the company's brand.
Maintain internal control standards, including timely audit responses and addressing regulatory issues.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Entry Level
The pay range is $18.00 - $28.11/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance, time off, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
This is a fully remote position.
