Job summary

Equity Resources, Inc. in Newark, Ohio seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Processing Manager to lead the Processing Department and ensure compliant, efficient loan processing from order to funding.

The role requires a strong mortgage operations background, leadership acumen, and a focus on customer service, collaboration, and training across staff and management. Hybrid work is available for Central Ohio candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or Administration or 5 years of mortgage industry management experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a management or equivalent role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage teams, productivity, and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff to ensure efficient, compliant mortgage processing from order to funding.
• Champion customer service excellence and promote the company’s "raving fan service" culture.
• Directly supervise processors to meet department and organizational goals.
• Manage loan officer relationships with processors and resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery from the Processing Department to internal and external customers.
• Monitor processing workflow, staffing, and pipelines to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and support staff development.
• Collaborate with department managers to resolve bottlenecks and improve interdepartmental efficiency.
• Maintain expert knowledge of loan programs and processing procedures to ensure compliance.
• Support training by updating manuals and organizing sessions for loan teams.
