Job summary

Bravera Bank is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor to assist Mortgage Banking Officers with data collection for underwriting and preparing closing packages. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration across departments to support successful home loan closings.

Primary duties include obtaining verifications, compiling documentation for credit underwriting, and maintaining vendor relationships throughout the home loan process.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diplomas or equivalent with a two-year associate degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years banking experience or previous administrative experience; OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Skills/certifications: Organization and communication skills are required

• Provide support to Mortgage Banking Officers by requesting verifications of employment, rent, and deposit when required; ordering documentation for credit and file approval; preparing files to send to underwriting; preparing documentation for closing; maintaining contact with vendors, insurance agents, and realtors as requested; assisting toward successful closing of a home loan.
• Familiar with Bravera Mortgage Banking policies and procedures; participate in ongoing training; adhere to banking regulations, including BSA; monitor for fraud and report suspicious activity.
