This position combines loan-opening duties with pre-closing coordination, ensuring required documentation, title work, insurance information, appraisal details, and preliminary closing figures are accurate and available early to keep processing, underwriting, and closing moving in parallel.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting mortgage files from loan opening through clear to close.
• Review files for completeness, accuracy, and closing readiness.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or expiring items that may affect closing.
• Coordinate with loan officers, processors, closers, attorneys, title companies, insurance providers, and other transaction partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timely follow-up on outstanding requests and escalate issues.
• Ensure documents are complete and available for processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Communicate file progress and risks to team members.
• Manage high volume of files prioritizing closing dates and urgency.
• Aim to keep Closing Ready rate at or above 75%.
