Job summary

Newrez in the Bucks County area is seeking a post-closing support specialist to manage post-closing files, ensure timely receipt of executed closing packages, and review for accuracy. You will deliver packages to lenders, coordinate issue resolution with lenders, borrowers, and closing agents, and monitor inquiries in post-closing channels.

You will also ensure compliance with funding and recording requirements, oversee document management, and support close coordination with the apportionment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1-2 years of mortgage or title funding/closing experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong proofreading skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Post-Closing File Management: ensure receipt of fully executed closing files from closing agents in a timely manner.
• Review completed packages for accuracy and completeness and facilitate correction when necessary.
• Deliver completed loan packages to lenders in accordance with required timelines.
• Issue Resolution & Coordination: obtain signatures on missing or additional documents from lenders, borrowers, and closing agents.
• Remedy post-closing issues or missing items through direct communication with closing agents and consumers.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries received via post-closing email inboxes.
• Compliance & Recording: understand and comply with regulatory requirements related to funding, recording, and company policies.
