Job summary

Union Savings Bank - CT is seeking Mortgage Originators to develop and implement the bank’s external mortgage origination process and to collaborate with the mortgage sales team leader to stay competitive in the market.

You will develop and coordinate the mortgage call program in the assigned area, focus on referral sources, and assist customers through the application process while ensuring timely submission and post-closing follow-up.

Qualifications

• Interview mortgage applicants and gather documentation to support the loan file.
• Explain financing options and program requirements to customers.
• Analyze applicant financial posture against loan criteria and risk-based pricing.
• Maintain communication with processors and customers throughout the loan lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the mortgage origination process.
• Coordinate the mortgage call program with referral sources (realtors, attorneys, branch staff).
• Assist customers in completing applications and collecting required documents.
