Hancock Whitney Corp. is seeking an experienced mortgage professional to originate portfolio loans and advise borrowers.

You will stay aligned with underwriting policies, investor guidelines, and applicable laws, while nurturing referral networks and coordinating with processors, underwriters, and closers to move loans forward. The role requires 2+ years of mortgage origination experience, a relevant degree, and NMLS registration upon hire.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 years of sales experience required; 2+ years mortgage origination experience preferred.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act required upon active employment and renewal.
• Knowledge of mortgage laws, procedures, rules, regulations at federal, state, local levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
• Strong communication, analytical, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel if required to perform essential job functions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert mortgage advice to potential borrowers.
• Stay current with underwriting policy, investor guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain referral networks with Bank associates and external sources (Realtors, builders, etc.).
• Manage a clean loan pipeline with processors, underwriters, and closers.
• Deliver all compliance documents and disclosures in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closing with borrowers, agents, Realtors, and others involved.
• Interview loan applicants to document income, debt, and credit history.
• Inform applicants of closing costs and required documentation; obtain signatures.
• Submit application forms for verification and follow up on discrepancies.
• Keep all parties updated on changes in the process and status.
