The position includes responsibilities for regulatory reporting, annual training coordination, and post-closing tasks to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant mortgage operations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations with compliance oversight, including post-closing, opening/setup, QC reviews, and training.
• Assist regulatory exams, Mortgage Call Reports, and state regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and track annual regulatory training programs for staff.
• Collaborate with third-party QC vendors on file uploads and audit reviews.
• Assist post-closing operations: processing closing packages and clearing post-closing conditions.
• Provide backup for preparing and issuing initial loan disclosures to ensure timely delivery.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Operations Support Coordinator in Stamford, CT. The role will be in-office with some flexibility for hybrid in future. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing, post-closing, compliance and / or operations with a solid understanding of mortgage processes and regulatory requirements. 60K – 70K Base + Benefits

• Compliance oversight with assisting in daily operations, including post-closing, loan opening/setup, QC reviews, regulatory compliance & compliance training.
• Assist with regulatory exams, Mortgage Call Reports and all state regulatory reporting requirements, quarterly & annual.
• Coordinate, implement, and track completion of annual compliance training programs to ensure adherence to regulatory and company requirements.
• Collaborate with third-party QC vendor to create file selection uploads, review preliminary and final audit reports, and coordinate management responses and corrective action reviews.
• Assist with post-closing operations, including processing closing packages, uploading closed loan for purchase review, and clearing post-closing conditions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Serve as a backup resource for preparing and issuing initial loan disclosures to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
