Qualifications

• Five or more years of residential mortgage underwriting or mortgage operations experience.
• Prior management or supervisory experience in mortgage lending.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field or equivalent.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Mortgage Operations team including processing, underwriting and closing.
• Direct communication with correspondent banks to ensure smooth, timely transactions.
• Partner with audit, compliance and external regulators to ensure department compliance.
• Assist in development and implementation of new products and training materials.
• Back-up to other areas within Mortgage department as needed.
