Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Supervisor for Mortgage Loan Origination to lead a small team in an out-of-footprint territory. You will oversee daily operations, ensure timely document collection for processing, underwriting and closing, and drive loan volume through broker and builder referrals.

The role requires NMLS registration, leadership skills and a strong knowledge of mortgage products and regulations. Experience in mortgage banking and analyst capabilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically two or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mortgage origination or banking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of a small Mortgage Loan Originator team in an OFP territory.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting and closing are secured timely.
• Meet annual loan origination volume goals set by management.
• Develop referral sources from real estate brokers, builders and external partners.
• Recruit, onboard and retain talent; participate in employee development.
