Job Title: Loan Operations Analyst

Hourly Rate: $29.92/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, Business Standard Hours

Location: 800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266- Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite 2 days remote

Duration: 12 months with possible extension and/or conversion

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support mortgage loan transfer activities, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives within Home Lending. This role involves comparing and validating data, resolving discrepancies with internal and external partners, supporting process changes, and helping develop training materials and implementation procedures.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of mortgage servicing sales and/or acquisitions, working knowledge of MSP, and experience with data mapping, conversion, and analysis. Strong communication, project coordination, relationship management, and problem-solving skills are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mortgage loan transfer activities, including the implementation of process changes and operational improvements.
• Compare, validate, and analyze loan-related data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and opportunities for resolution.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, external counterparties, and vendors to investigate and resolve data-related issues.
• Apply knowledge of mortgage servicing data and MSP to support loan transfer processes and data accuracy.
• Assist with data structure, formatting, mapping, translation, and conversion activities related to loan transfers.
• Perform data-driven analysis to support business decisions, operational efficiency, and process improvements.
• Support project planning, organization, coordination, and execution to ensure initiatives are completed successfully.
• Help develop training materials, process documentation, and implementation guidance for updated procedures.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
• Support the development, integration, and execution of business goals and operational initiatives.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mortgage servicing sales and/or acquisitions within Home Lending.
• Working knowledge of MSP; familiarity with mortgage servicing systems and data is highly valuable.
• Experience working with data structures, formatting, mapping, translation, and conversion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to review, compare, organize, and analyze data.
