First American is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist to assess risk, process loss mitigation, and guide homeowners through modification and repayment options. You will review financials, communicate with homeowners and investors, and ensure compliance with CFPB and FDCPA guidelines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and timely handling of duties within established procedures and investor requirements. A supportive benefits package is offered.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Knowledge of Black Knight MSP system preferred.
• Understanding CFPB and FDCPA guidelines preferred.
• 1-3 years in Collections or mortgage servicing or real estate experience.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews and evaluates applications, renewals, re-pricings, restrictions, and cancellations to determine risk acceptability and coverage.
• Reviews loss mitigation package documentation to determine homeowner qualification for loss mitigation options.
• Educates homeowners about loan modification programs, forbearance plans, repayment plans, short sales, and deeds in lieu options.
• Calculates income, expenses, and escrow advances per guidelines; reviews titles, BPO/AVM/appraisals as applicable.
• Follows investor/client guidelines for loan modifications, forbearances, and repayment terms; assists with short sales and deeds in lieu.
