Job summary

Coda Search Staffing is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to manage new purchase applications, issue pre-approval letters, and oversee loans from contract to close. You will collaborate with borrowers, Loan Officers, processors, underwriters, and third-party partners to ensure on-time closings and an excellent borrower experience.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, mortgage guidelines knowledge, and the ability to analyze cash, credit, and income documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of mortgage processing, underwriting, loan origination, or related mortgage operations.
• Active NMLS License required.
• Proficiency with DU, LPA/LP, and major LOS such as Encompass or ARIVE.

Responsibilities

• Set up new purchase applications and issue pre-approval letters.
• Coordinate contract-to-close processes with borrowers and partners.
• Review loan applications (1003) and request necessary documents.
• Monitor pipelines and communicate status to borrowers and partners.
