Job summary

Bank First is seeking a Retail Loan QC professional to review residential mortgages, consumer loans, and HELOCs for compliance before closing. You will verify document preparation, disclosures, and accurate calculations while coordinating with other departments to obtain needed information.

You will stay current on TRID, HMDA, ECOA and related regulations, maintaining precise file records and supporting process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years retail loan operations or loan origination experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TRID, HMDA and loan documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numbers.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify findings, communicate corrections, and prepare a detailed report per loan file.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and Bank lending policies.
• Assist with input of monthly audit findings and summary of outstanding items.
• Provide backup support for Retail Loan Operations functions as needed.
• Stay current on lending regulations through continuing education and training.
