Job summary

BWE is seeking a candidate to support mortgage bankers in originating loans with multiple capital providers. You will assist in viability assessments, review borrower materials, and prepare preliminary packages for lenders and investors.

The role requires 0–2 years in CRE mortgage lending, a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Finance, and strong analytical and Excel skills to help drive timely submissions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance or equivalent education and related training.
• 0–2 years of experience in a commercial real estate mortgage loan production office or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, communication and Excel/modeling skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Originators with loan origination activities and viable financing alternatives.
• Review borrower materials and ensure information for preliminary loan analysis is received.
• Handle preliminary screening, underwriting analysis and structuring of lending opportunities.
• Prepare preliminary loan packages and submissions to lenders and investors.
• Assess strengths and weaknesses of transactions with market analysis and comps.
• Assist with pre-application and firm application package forms.
• Maintain contact database of borrowers, lenders, brokers and others in CRE finance.
• Develop and maintain relationships to ensure timely loan submissions.
• Provide market research data for loan opportunities and assist lead generation.
