Colliers in Miami seeks a Commercial Mortgage Banker / Producer to originate, underwrite and structure CRE debt for diverse clients. You’ll manage direct borrower relationships, oversee lender contacts, and drive revenue across property types.

The role emphasizes production, client development, and transaction execution from intake through closing, with collaboration across brokerage, valuation, and capital markets teams. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years CRE finance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance/real estate/business/economics/accounting or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of CRE finance, mortgage banking, capital markets, lending, or brokerage experience.
• Originating client relationships, sourcing financing opportunities, and contributing to production revenue.
• Strong business development, client relationship management, and transaction origination skills.
• Knowledge of CRE debt products, lender requirements, underwriting metrics, and valuation concepts.
• Ability to evaluate financing alternatives and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits through underwriting, lender review, negotiation, due diligence, and closing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and AI tools.
• Regular attendance; Real Estate Agent/Broker license may be required by jurisdiction.
• Familiarity with or ability to learn AI-powered productivity tools for research and client service.

Responsibilities

• Originate commercial mortgage banking assignments by developing direct borrower relationships.
• Source, structure, and place debt financing across major CRE property types.
• Build lender/capital source relationships with insurance cos., banks, CMBS, and private capital.
• Lead borrower intake, underwriting, capital strategy, lender outreach, and term sheet negotiation.
• Manage a personal production pipeline in Colliers CRM with new business and revenue tracking.
• Collaborate with brokerage, investment sales, valuation, and capital markets teams on financing opportunities.
• Prepare financing proposals, lender packages, deal marketing materials, and client-facing recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
