Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a commercial real estate mortgage loan production office or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance or equivalent education and related training.
• Strong analytical skills and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and modeling skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Originators with viable loan executions and financing alternatives.
• Review borrower materials to ensure needed information for preliminary loan analysis.
• Handle preliminary screening, underwriting analysis, and structuring of lending opportunities.
• Prepare preliminary loan packages, presentations, and submissions to lenders/investors.
• Assess strengths/weaknesses of transactions including market analysis and comps.
• Complete forms for pre-application and firm application packages.
• Assist maintenance of a contact database of borrowers, lenders, brokers, and others in CRE and finance.
• Develop and maintain internal/external relationships for timely loan submissions.
• Provide market research data for loan opportunities and assist lead generation using third‑party data sources.
