Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' administrative/government loan processing preferred.
• Minimum of one year in conventional loan processing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently with initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process residential mortgage loan files from submission through clear to close.
• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Order, obtain, and review third party documentation including credit reports, appraisals, title, and insurance.
• Analyze income, assets, credit, and liabilities to support underwriting findings.
• Prepare and submit complete loan files to underwriting for approval.
• Track and clear underwriting conditions in a timely manner.
• Maintain ongoing communication with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and closing agents.
• Ensure loan files comply with federal/state regulations and investor requirements.
