Job summary

M/I Homes is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle FHA, VA and Conventional mortgage loan applications in a fast-paced environment in San Antonio, TX. You will gather and verify documentation from applicants and credit sources, preparing packages for underwriting approval.

Responsibilities include coordinating with applicants and underwriters, resolving issues, and supporting special projects. The role requires a strong mortgage background and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, with some college preferred.
• At least three years of experience in the mortgage field.
• Proficient in Day One Certainty, FHA Connections, the VA Portal and other mortgage databases.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, analyzes and processes documentation from applicants, credit bureaus, employers, and creditors to verify financial information.
• Reviews and organizes loan information for underwriting submission.
• Communicates with applicants, underwriters and creditors to resolve issues on applications.
• Assists with special projects and other duties as required.
• Able to close between 15 to 20 files per month.
