Job summary

M/I Homes, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle FHA, VA and Conventional loan documentation and prepare packages for underwriting approval.

You will gather and analyze documents from applicants and credit bureaus, organize files for timely underwriting, and communicate with applicants, underwriters to resolve issues. Strong mortgage database skills and at least three years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in the mortgage field.
• Proficient with mortgage databases and portals.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, analyzes and processes documentation to verify financial information.
• Reviews and organizes loan information for underwriting submission.
• Communicates with applicants, underwriters, and creditors to resolve questions.
• Assists with special projects as requested.
• Able to close 15–20 files per month.
