Two Harbors Investment Corp. is seeking a skilled Loan Processor in the Dallas area. You will handle mortgage processing for conventional and government loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting origination and operations teams.

The role requires 4+ years of mortgage processing experience, proficiency with Encompass, and solid knowledge of RESPA/TILA/TRID/HMDA/ECOA. Strong communication, detail-orientation, and pipeline management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years mortgage processing experience required.
• Ability to verify 1003, credit reports, title quotes, AUS, and MI.
• Working knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
• Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, TRID, HMDA, ECOA and Fair Lending laws.
• Proficiency with Encompass and related software.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review documents submitted by borrowers within 48 hours.
• Direct communication with borrowers via email and/or phone; respond within 24 hours.
• Review accuracy of Loan Application, AUS, and credit report.
• Review credit reports for accuracy (names, addresses, inquiries, liabilities).
• Order and retrieve 3rd party services (credit, tax transcripts, appraisals, etc.).
• Review disclosures for signatures and dates; update Encompass accordingly.
• Submit complete files to Underwriter for initial underwrite and final review.
• Maintain strong pipeline management to meet closing dates.
• Assist closing and post-closing with required documents.
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with Loan Officer and Processing Manager.
