IHMVCU is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to manage the mortgage loan workflow from application through closing at our River Drive headquarters in Moline, IL. You will verify documents, coordinate with partners, and ensure compliance while delivering an outstanding member experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan operations or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage large volumes of details.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communication with a focus on member satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy prior to underwriting submission.
• Verify income, employment, assets, credit, and other documentation to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Order and track verifications of employment or deposit.
• Communicate with loan officers to obtain outstanding documentation or clarify details.
• Prepare and update loan files in the origination system for accurate data entry.
• Review and clear underwriting conditions within established timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of all correspondence and file updates.
• Monitor pipeline reports and manage assigned loan files to meet SLAs.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage products, investor requirements, and regulatory changes.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and member satisfaction.
